THE DESIGN PROCESS

Q. If we want to revise our plan after our meeting, will you update it at no charge?
A. We will make one revision at your request on our landscape design packages. Multiple revisions will be quoted before they are produced.

Q. Do you bring extra copies to our meeting?
A. Upon receipt of payment you will receive a large copy as well as your personal binder.

Q. If appropriate, will the plan encompass my entire property?
A. Yes. We generally create a comprehensive plan that covers the entire property. However, some designs may not be conducive to this.

Q. Will the plan be accompanied by an estimate for the work? Can you guarantee pricing?
A. Unless otherwise noted or discussed, we provide an estimate for the landscape ‘as drawn’ on the design. We generally can guarantee pricing for 60 days.

Q. Can you also give me unit prices and information about phasing the installation?
A. We discuss possible phases in our initial meeting. If none have been set by you, Spring Fever will give you ‘logical’ phases according to your plan, (ie: front yard, patio, etc.).

Q. Can you prepare plans for work I will complete myself?
A. After you have paid for the design, it is yours to do as you wish. Spring Fever does offer free delivery to design clients that purchase the landscape materials from us. Even if they are installing it themselves.

Q. Do you bring plant books, catalogues and product samples to our presentation?
A. Spring Fever carries plant books and product pamphlets to our meetings. If we know ahead of time, we can bring block and paver samples also.

Q. Can I get estimates from other landscape companies?
A. It is your right as a smart consumer to obtain as many estimates as you see fit. We just caution you to make sure the estimates are an ‘apples to apples’ comparison.

Q. Are you able to estimate other construction, ie; decks, patios, pergolas and fencing?
A. We can give you an estimate on just about anything. If we do not provide a direct service, we have assembled a list of very competent sub-contractors that can produce the same craftsmanship Spring Fever requires of all its projects.

Q. Are you familiar with availability and unit prices for plants and hardscapes?
A. Availability changes daily, but our plant inventory and that of our network of growers can produce almost any specimen quality plant that will grow in our zone throughout the growing season. We can always provide you with unit prices at your request.
