DESIGN
Landscaping can be a complex series of decisions. You've got the basic aspects of wind, water and sun as well as soil, slope and drainage. Mix in the difficulties of budgets, phasing and the fact that you have to make the decision with your spouse...and, well, we don't need to tell you how difficult it is. We help people make these decisions all the time. It really doesn't have to be that difficult for you. In fact, if you break it into simple steps, landscape solutions can be relatively easy to resolve.
First of all, take a few moments to analyze your property. Make some notes. What is it that you like about your home site? Are you having drainage problems? Do you need to screen or accent a view? What plants do you like or dislike? Is there a "style" of plant arrangement that appeals to you? Would you be interested in completing portions of the work yourself? Take a few moments to establish a budget. Not just your "first phase", but what you might invest in the outside of your home over a few years. Of course we're going to say that "landscaping is a good investment." Up to a point, that is. You've also got to think of your home's overall value and contrast that against how much you plan to enjoy the area around your home.
As a design client, you will work with your very own designer, who will personally oversee all aspects of your project, providing individual attention to every step of the construction process. Other firms may shuffle you through several staff members — not at Spring Fever Landscape Development. We assign you one specific designer who directs your project from start to finish. Your designer prepares and presents your bid, oversees purchasing and production, coordinates subcontractors, monitors quality, and ensures your satisfaction with both the construction process and the finished product. Your designer is always in control of your job and is always available to assist you.
You can expect to enjoy very personalized and comprehensive attention from our highly trained designer who will bring your dreams to reality. Our custom landscape foremen and field workers are trained and selected for their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and communication skills that ensure your project’s uncompromising quality. Our efforts begin with helping you define and visualize your landscape goals, and conclude by bringing your dreams to reality and ensuring the finished product exceeds your highest expectations.
Spring Fever’s landscape designer will work with you to develop the particular aesthetics and functional needs of your project that properly reflect your tastes, desires, site requirements and budgetary needs. We work closely with you to develop a budget, create a detailed design outline, produce a plan that meets the criteria, and provide a quoted price to construct the project as planned.
At this point, you can request either a complimentary proposal or a landscape design. After your initial consultation, we'll be happy to write up a proposal for you. It usually takes about a week or so. A plan is a more methodical process, involving more time, (from 10 to 20 days or more), as well as an additional investment on your part. We take the guess work out of landscape design pricing by giving you an upfront package price. This gives you the ease of mind on what you are spending and the design is not compromised by time or money constraints. The landscape design package includes a large print and a binder. Your binder includes a smaller print, a computer enhanced photo and detailed plant description lists. You will also receive one revision to the plan at your request.
